Glazed / Fixed Aesthetic can be seen as a document of a band in transition: a progress report between their debut release and working on a more substantial product in the future.

While their trademark sound, a shrewd brand of discordant guitar pop in the spirit of Goo-era Sonic Youth, remains, you can also hear the introduction of a warmer, fuller resonance in this proposition of things to come.
This Amsterdam-based quartet has a penchant for inverted musical shapes. Jagged guitar-lines slice and shimmer, occasionally bursting in to fuzz, all the while held down by sparse, shuffling grooves.
The clearer vocals on ‘Glazed / Fixed Aesthetic’ indicate a band that has grown and gained confidence in their craft.
